The final Twilight film broke through the competition and cruised to an easy box office victory over the weekend.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 earned an estimated 141.3 million dollars in its debut weekend, a total that ranks eighth all-time. Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 also raked in nearly 200 million dollars overseas.
Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 replaced the James Bond film Skyfall in the top spot. Skyfall fell to second place, collecting 41.5 million dollars.
Lincoln, which expanded into wide release Friday, November 16th, finished third, with 21 million.
